World War II Thrills and Trails

DSWAN organised an outing to revisit history with our kids.







Some places visited were:- National Monuments, Murals dating 1400. Cenotaphs, Pavillion & 7 Figures. Commonwealth graves.

We toured the various different locations with two local guides who shared countless interesting stories of about the Japanese comfort women, war heros, Chinese educationist, truck drivers who sacrified their lives during Japanese and Communism era, Yap Ah Loy, KL Founding heros, and Chan Fook whose house is now the Istana.




We had food and more food - "chi-pau-kai", "yong taufoo" and visited Beryl's chocolate Wonderland, etc, etc, etc ....
